Is there anythign wrong with a book being a part owner of a watchdog site? i think not as long as it's disclosed.

ID, do you think there might be any forum owners who also have a financial interest in a sportsbook?

id i think this is a good thread

it would be best served in the offshore forum to have more view's and responses. also i brought up a thread earlier would it be acceptable for a person, who talks highly about a sportsbook or poker site to get referrals?? (ex -would be fishhead promoting dolyesroom site ,which many people have joined) whould it be fair for a moderator or a person who posts here at the rx to get a referral???

(fishhead has stated he never recieved a referral...fwiw) i think that would be a good debate.

How so?! Can you give me an example?

Thats the most rediculous thing I've heard.

If I own forum XYZ and sportsbook ABC, I put an ad for ABC at my XYZ forum and it's the same size as everyone else's. . .what difference would it make? Can't Robfunk own a book and a forum? cant Robfunk own 2 business's?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

are u serious rob? it's like these books that publish these football magazines and advertise their sites in there as though they are a 3rd party endorsing the books, what a joke...

anyways....it would be wrong for a WATCHDOG site t own a book.....what are they going to do, give themselves a bad rating when they slow pay?

it would be like me owning a home improvement company and at the same time i was president of the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU....wouldn't fly!

You know what Sherman. You are right. I am thinking of gambling forums. Identity is talking about a watchdog site like SBR.

Yes, IF a business such as SBR owned a book or a group of books that wouldnt be right.

My mistake.

not what i mean.

i aam asking whether a sportsbook, wholly owned by different people who own a posting watchdog forum (isnt the rx a watchdog site), should also be an owner of the watchdog site. thats the issue. can a sportsbook own a watchdog.....gl..
